One Year Date Day in nutshell
Woke up and made us oatmeal.
Went to LR with no real plan of what to do.
Stood just inside the door of the children’s museum wanting to go play with the exhibits but feeling like creepers. Bought niece a birthday gift and left. Will bring nieces next time.
Ate lunch at overly trendy, eco-friendly, downtown deli.

Almost a year.
Almost a year into this crazy lovefest and we’re still celebrating firsts. Today is Bill and my first Valentine’s together.
We’ve already exchanged cards/flowers over the weekend. Tonight will just be about homemade dinner and a free rental from Redbox.

Old Lady Fist Shaking Rant
I was at Target today, scoping out any unadvertised deals. Ya know, free stuff. And of course the place was pretty packed. People with giant red carts EVERYWHERE. One guy even had a baby screaming like she was being murdered and refused to take her out of the store. In fact, I started to think he was following me around with it. But even that didn’t really bother me.

Burning a hole
So I finally conviced my grandmother to let me do some of her house work every week. But she insists on paying me.
What should I do with this extra $20? Options:
Go to the movies with my man
Save it up for the wedding (that I can’t technically plan for yet)
Buy Grandma a real vacuum and a mop from this century
All are good options, but prob going with two or three.
Coupon Sunday
I didn’t get a lot for free today, but I did get a lot of cheap stuff.
Walgreens: 4 bottles of Garnier hair gel, one bottle of Garnier shampoo, one bottle of Garnier conditioner, one bottle of Wet Synergy lube, four assorted candy bars (to even up the item to coupon ratio) = $17.19, $2.19 after Register Rewards
Walmart: 3 bottles of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, two apples and dip packages...
Good decisions, bad decisions
Bad decision: Going to work even though I see the swirly, migrainey spots while I brush my teeth.
Good decision: Chocolate-peanut butter protein bar for breakfast. Why do I think these are so good? Because they were 16 cents a piece.
Bad decision: Crawl around on the floor, lift heavy coats above my head, bend over for dropped clothing.
